Welcome to Open Inquiry Coaching

Life is full of mess and confusion and “figuring it all out” seems like an impossible goal. If you are reading this, I can imagine that you have been wanting to make changes in various parts of your life, and yet your efforts have not brought you the results you had hoped.

Rest assured. Changes are hard, and you don’t have to go alone at it.

At Open inquiry coaching, we value deep transformation within a person that naturally gives rise to changes in life. So this coaching is more suitable for those who are curious about their barriers to change and open to the possibility of creating the life that reflects who you are. When our life choices align with our values and identity we can feel at peace.

I am Kyungah Kim.

I am originally from South Korea and have lived in the US for the last 16 years. I have two master’s degrees in counseling psychology, as well as years of experiences and training as a psychotherapist both in South Korea and the US. After years of helping others through psychotherapy, I have decided to offer coaching, because I am drawn to the deep process where changes in choices and behaviors arise from deep internal transformation. This process can be enhanced by a supportive guide, and I would be honored to be one for you.

As an Asian woman who is an expatriate/immigrant in the US, my journey has had its own unique sets of challenges and complexity. Thanks to my backgrounds, I have been invited to be a part of deep and personal journeys of those who have similar backgrounds. This part of my work has been the most rewarding and meaningful to me, and I’d like to continue with it as a coach.

I am excited for the connection and learning I will experience while I am working with you as your guide.

At Open Inquiry Coaching, we may focus on exploring identity, culture, life decisions, values, and connection to ourselves and others. HOW WE APPROACH these topics will also be an integral part of the process.

Through our work together, I hope that you will achieve the below:
